Dislocated Workers
If you are laid off, or about to experience we can help.
Core Services:
All dislocated workers have access to our services. You may have received information about
these services through your Rapid Response team if you were part of a larger layoff. These
services include information and assistance in obtaining such things as:
- Unemployment Insurance
- Health care coverage
If the initial services do not produce results, you may be eligible
to receive intensive services for one-on-one assistance, group career
workshops, and other assistance such as:
- Help in getting back to work
- Assessments of your skills and abilities
- Counseling services
- Resume Assistance
- Improving your interviewing skills
- Listing of job openings
- Job referrals
- Hel in planning how to get back to work
- On-on-One job counseling
Our team can also assist you in obtaining available training
services including:
- Occupational Skills Training
- Vocational Training
- College Training
- Skills Upgrades
- GED Preparation
- English as a Second Language
- Math and Reading Training
